A festive afternoon of creativity awaits in The Loft, our tucked-away space in the upper courtyard.
This year, James Knight, AKA The Garden Knight, will be leading our wreath-making workshop. With experience creating floral arrangements at Burghley House using flowers and foliage from the gardens for shoots and celebrations, James now runs his own gardening business alongside his floristry work.
Working with a selection of British-grown winter foliage, you’ll learn the techniques behind creating a full and textured wreath, before adding your own finishing touches. You’ll have access to a carefully curated selection of seasonal decorations, including velvet ribbons, feathers, pinecones, berries, and a stunning array of dried florals allowing you to make your wreath completely your own.
Whether you’re new to wreath-making or have made plenty before, the session is designed to be relaxed, informal and enjoyable, with everything you need provided.
Refreshments and mince pies will be served at the beginning of the session.
