Authors in Conversation: Sarah Raven-14th October 6-8pm
We are delighted to welcome celebrated gardener, writer and broadcaster Sarah Raven for a very special evening of conversation at Rutland Nursery on 14th October.
With a lifelong passion for plants, flowers and the natural world, Sarah has spent more than 25 years inspiring gardeners to create beautiful, productive spaces filled with colour, scent and life. From her own renowned garden at Perch Hill in East Sussex to her work as an author, teacher and founder of her own gardening business, Sarah has become one of the most influential voices in modern gardening.
Sarah will be joining our resident host, Chris Young, for an intimate in-conversation event, sharing stories from her remarkable career, her approach to gardening, and the inspiration behind her many bestselling books. Chris is a leading figure in gardening and horticultural publishing, with over 25 years’ experience across magazines, books and digital media, including his time as Editor of The Garden for the RHS.
Author of 14 books, Sarah has encouraged generations of gardeners to grow flowers, vegetables and plants with confidence, creativity and a deeper connection to nature.
From cut flowers and seasonal planting to sustainable gardening and the joy of growing your own, this promises to be a wonderful evening with one of Britain’s most loved gardeners — full of inspiration, stories and practical ideas to take home.
