Thrive & Bloom: Understanding Mindfulness – What it is, how it works and why it matters - 26th March 2-3pm
Join us for the next Thrive & Bloom session in The Loft, our calm and welcoming wellbeing space at the nursery, for an inspiring and accessible talk on mindfulness and personal wellbeing.
In this session, we’ll explore what mindfulness really is, how it works, and why it can be such a powerful support for everyday life. Mindfulness can help you feel less stressed, more relaxed, and better able to meet life’s challenges with greater self-kindness, self-awareness, and confidence.
The talk will be led by Gavin Breeze, a qualified mindfulness teacher with over 50 years’ experience of meditation, and a trustee of MindSpace Stamford, our local mental health charity, where he runs a regular mindfulness class. He also brings over 30 years’ experience coaching senior leaders and their teams, as well as delivering workshops internationally.
During the session, Gavin will lead you through an exploration of how the mind works, how it naturally wanders, and how we can become caught up in stories about the past or future. He will gently guide you through simple, practical mindfulness exercises designed to help settle the mind and bring your attention back to the present moment.
This session is free to attend, and complimentary tea and coffee will be available.
