Thrive & Bloom: A Natural Remedy – how connecting with nature can improve your mental health

Join us in The Loft, our calm and welcoming wellbeing space, for a fascinating talk with Dr. Tim Mackrill, founder of the Osprey Leadership Foundation. Tim will explore how connecting with nature can have profound benefits for mental health, from spending time outdoors to even observing wildlife through webcams. He will also discuss the unexpected positive effects on people’s wellbeing of reintroducing species such as Ospreys and White-tailed Eagles into the wild.

With over a decade of experience managing the Rutland Osprey Project, Tim combines his deep knowledge of wildlife conservation with a passion for inspiring the next generation of conservation leaders. He will share insights from his research on Osprey migration, his work with young conservationists, and stories from his travels studying Ospreys in the UK and West Africa.

Thrive & Bloom is a non-commercial community project inspired by the beauty and calm of our nursery. Our aim is to combine this serene setting with the knowledge of local wellness and environmental experts to support health and wellbeing across the community.

There is no charge to attend, and free tea and coffee will be served. Spaces are limited, so please book early to secure your place. If you need to cancel, please let us know so someone else can enjoy the session. Our talks are informal, welcoming, and held in a space built on trust, privacy, and confidentiality, offering practical advice, gentle support, and a moment of calm in the busyness of modern life.
